i noticed, the battles in the battle arena are too perfect you can always use the moves you want with complete sucsess which is unrealistic.

so my idea is have something like a dice your roll (like a 20 sided dice) and certain rank jutsu's require a lesser number to pull off like if you want a D-rank jutsu you would need say a 5, for forbidden like a 20. if you do not roll sufficent numbers the jutsus fail.

but the problem is no one (or not many people) have a 20 sided die and you can easily lie about such things so i suggest maybe a number randomizer that could someow be installed

a thrid netural person will be there to moderate the match

for example:
person 1: i use a generic jutsu
moderator(no not a real mod): you got a 1 so the jutsu fails and trip and land on your face
person 2: while they are on the groundill attempt an S rank jutsu
moderator: you got a 20 so you win :D

i'm new to the site, but i agree...as a former rpg-aholic, perfection doesn't sit well with me.

but then, i believe this is more about fun than a true rpg...check out BESM (Big Eyes, Small Mouth) an anime based rpg for that. i am a noob, so my opinion is little more than a brief glimpse into the verse in play

hm, well, i'm not much an advertiser normally. just try and spread the knowledge...after seein' all the fight posts, i was thinkin' of writin' an rpg, but then i remembered BESM which pretty much covers anything anime. And i think people seem to enjoy and generally get along alright without all the silly rules.
