The second Mizukage walks to the middle of the lake, where his student was waiting patiently.
Well, if I'm not late! Hahaha!! Now, you're a Hozuki, are you? Hm? How interesting; you don't look like the Hozuki I'm used to. But what do I know? I only ran Kirigakure!
The second Mizukage then broke down in a fit of laughter before getting back up and speaking to his student once more.
Okay, so, if you really are a Hozuki, you should know a bit about our Hidden Ability even without the ability to use it. Please describe for me the basic principle of our Hidden Ability, and how it is often used in general. That may be for combat, for supplementary or domestic purposes, or anything else you can think of. Well? Go on, then. I don't have all day!

Littlefinger looked in the direction of the man who approached him. After hearing the man speak, he realised that this was the person to train him in his clan arts. All he did was wear a broad smile as the man spoke and laughed and spoke and laughed again. When he was presented an opportunity to speak, Littlefinger did, fluently.
Ahem.. As Hozukis, we are born with an aptitude for liquefying our body, partly or wholly, with a technique known as the Hydrification Technique. This enables us to become the perfect assassins as we can by liquefying our body, slip past guards, through crevices, between tight corners, etc, virtually unnoticed. By taking a liquid form, we can also become immune to physical attacks, allowing us to use an opponent's force against them when in battle. Another interesting fact about our hidden ability is that we can still move and attack opponents whilst in a liquid form. This brings me to the disadvantages of our hidden ability. Since water is a great conductor of lightning, we are highly susceptible to lightning based attacks. Due to the fact that we can liquefy our bodies at will, we need to remain hydrated, prompting most of us to carry a source of water at all times. Don't look so stupefied, friend . . . I did my research..

Okay, good... The liquification of our bodies and then the manipulation of our liquified states; you seem to have hit the nail on the head! Bet it didn't like that too much.
The second Mizukage began to laugh a little at his joke.
Now, you have mastered Suiton, correct? For this technique, the secret technique of our clan, off of which all of our techniques are based, you will need to focus your suiton chakra into every cell of your being. We will move on to derived techniques once you have mastered the technique to a point where you can stab yourself with a kunai and have it pass through your liquified body. It appears you already understand some uses and drawbacks to this technique itself, so I'll simply wait for your ability to utilize it.

Paying close attention to his tutor's every word, Littlefinger got a hint of what was expected of him. Ѕσ he began channeling his water chakra throughout his body, making sure to focus this chakra into every part of his body, no matter how minuscule. As he does this, he focuses his mind on the liquid form of his chakra, thus prompting his whole body to take that form.

Walking towards the man he was to teach, the Second Mizukage swiftly took a kunai from his weapon's pouch and thrust it forwards, the blade sinking into the boy's liquified body.
Appears jolly good! Now, remember; with this jutsu we have immunity to physical attacks, our bodies simply reverting to average shape afterwards. Generally, this technique's main weakness is lightning, with A-rank and below techniques reducing us to a puddle of sentient jelly, of course, D- and C-ranked techniques are recoverable whereas special treatment is needed for more severe damage, and higher ranks being able to kill us altogether. S- and above-ranked Fire techniques are capable of evaporating the water of the Hydrification Technique, meaning that we'd die. And finally, contaminating the water which makes up our bodies with such substances as blood, mud, poison, or other such things can severely damage our internal organs and vital systems if we do not have extra water to draw from to reform our bodies, which brings me to a final point on the technique. If you are in contact with a water source while using this, you are capable of using the water from the source to reform your body instead of the exact water you originally turned your body into. This also allows for quick submerging to avoid severe evaporation or electrocution, as well as avoiding the contamination of our physical bodies.
(Suiton: Suika no Jutsu) – Water Release: Hydrification technique
Rank: A
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 20
Damage points: N/A
Description: This technique allows the user to liquefy the whole body at will, this technique makes it impossible to receive damage from physical attacks. From a single hair to the skin and muscles, everything can be liquefied and solidified at will. Be it to evade an enemy's attack during a short range battle, to infiltrate a structure, or to launch a surprise attack in a liquefied state, this technique boasts a high strategic value. Using this, the user can also re-shape their body parts for suitable situations. The only way to contain a user of this technique is to lock them up in an airtight container so they cannot move about. When the user passes out, they turn into a jelly-like state. As this technique turns the body into water, the user is vulnerable to lightning techniques. The Second Mizukage when using this technique has a more oily state allowing it to into Gaara's sand element and nullify the techniques. (this oily ability can only be used by the Second Mizukage).
Note: Can only be used by members of the Hozuki Clan.
For exact specifications on the technique, please contact a moderator; the lightning ranking part is my opinion and is to be taken with a grain of salt.

Now we begin with the derived techniques. First thing's first; come towards me and liquify your hand, simply for convenience's sake. After your hand has become like water, use your chakra to reshape it into a sphere which is then used to cover my head. Once you can do it to my satisfaction, I want you to describe for me some ways you could practically use it on the battlefield, as well as some inherit drawbacks to the jutsu.

Littlefinger began moving towards his teacher cautiously. As he advanced, he gathered a considerable amount of chakra in his right arm and using nature transformation, made it water based. Further utilizing his Hozuki ability, he transformed his right arm into a liquefied state, pooling just the exact amount of chakra needed to form it into a ball. Stretching his liquefied arm, he grabs hold of his teacher's face and quickly manipulates his arm into a ball that surrounds the man's head, drowning him in it.

When in battle, the easiest way to use this would be to sneak up to an opponent and launch a surprise attack probably by wrapping my arm around them from behind. In order to sneak up to an opponent without any form of sensory abilities, the E-rank Invisibility Technique would be most suitable. Another way would be to draw them onto a water source, distract them and slip into the water unnoticed. By so doing, I can emerge close to them from the water source and strike.
These instances may apply when battling someone without any sensory skill.

However, when battling a very skillful person or someone with a sensory skill, it becomes harder to execute and calls for well thought out or planned moves. Consider a scenerio where an opponent attacks me with a close range taijutsu or kenjutsu attack. This is a perfect opportunity to liquefy the portion of my body that is hit and manipulate the resulting water to surround their head. Or if I'm the one launching a taijutsu attack, I can quickly liquefy a portion of my body as it makes contact with the opponent, then use the water to surround their head and drown them.

Although this is a very interesting technique and indeed very useful, it puts the users at risk as they need to get real close. Since Hozukis are naturally susceptible to lightning, it is highly predictable that most opponents would attempt a full body lightning attack to keep us at bay.

Good enough?

Well, see, the thing with this technique is when you've caught their head within the water, if they use any lightning to try and disrupt you, they'll electrocute their wet head as well, putting them in just as much danger as they're putting you. Aside from that, your description is done quite well.
(Suiton: Dekishi Mizu Burobu no Jutsu) - Water Release: Drowning Water Blob Technique
Rank: B
Type: Offensive
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 20
Damage points: 40
Description: After liquefying a portion of their body, the user manipulates the resulting water to surround their target's head, preventing them from breathing in order to either: render the victim unconscious or ultimately kill them, if the suffocation is sustained.
Note: Can only be used by members of the Hozuki clan.
This next technique is incredibly similar, but larger. Basically, release from both of your hands water, which is converted from your body with the Hydrification Technique (you don't actually have to use/post the technique when using derived jutsu unless it's specified), a large sphere which acts as the commonly-used Water Prison. It's basically Water Prison without the need for handseals or a source. Which is kind of useful, but no where near as useful as that ranged version, whatever it's called again.

Littlefinger focuses on his chakra and begins channeling it to his arms. As he does this, he transforms the raw chakra to water natured chakra and applying his Hozuki ability, liquefies his hands to form water. Utilizing this water, he manipulates it to form a large sphere that surrounds the target. And it's called Gushing Water Imprisonment e.e

Concerning the Hydrification technique, you said, "you don't actually have to use/post the technique when using derived jutsu unless it's specified". Can you throw more light on this? Maybe with an example.

Yeah, disregard that; I have no idea what I was saying. O__O Unless a mod says otherwise, use the Hydrification technique before using any of the derived techniques (which makes sense for combos, because as your opponent hits you with taijutsu, you turn into water and then surround him with liquid... so yeah <.<). See, I got these techniques before any sensei could teach Hozuki, so I believe I assumed that one could simply turn their hand into water to surround your opponent's head without using the Hydrification technique first; with the Drowning Water Blob technique only, instead. But, after some thinking, I believe that's wrong; as I said, a mod is best to ask for this sort of thing. >.<

Yes, this technique is basically the Water Prison technique without a required water source... If you're learning the Hozuki's Hidden Ability, you've clearly mastered water, and as such, you know how to use the Water Prison. Therefore, you know how to use this jutsu properly.
(Suiton: Mizu Shibo no Jutsu) - Water Release: Water Entrapment Technique
Rank: B
Type: Offensive, Supplementary
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 20
Damage points: N/A
Description: Through the use of the Hydrification technique, the user releases water from his hand towards the target that then binds them in a prison of water and restricting their movements.
Note: Can only be used by a member of the Hozuki clan.
Okay, so, remember playing "cops and robbers" as a kid? Of course you do! Wait, you don't? What kind of sick, twisted childhood did you lead!?!? Ahem; sorry about that. Anywho, first, form your hand into a gun-shape by pulling your bottom three fingers in to your palm, sticking your index finger out and holding your thumb at a ninety-degree angle to your index finger. Then, use the Hydrification technique to turn your index finger to water. After your hand has become water, collect a great deal of water pressure behind the tip of your finger, and release it all in a single burst with your Suiton chakra as you bring your hand upwards like you were shooting a gun with recoil. Actually, know what, say "bang" when you do it; you need some kind of childhood!
Also, describe how you would use it in battle, strengths, etc... And everything else you can think of... What are those other things called? Man, why can't I think of thing's when I- WEAKNESSES! Yes, I want you to list weaknesses and... Now I can't remember the other one. @_@ I said it before; you know what I'm talking about!

The second Mizukage then began to laugh hysterically as he waited for his student to begin.

This man is wierd. It had to be said. As he explained what was required of me so animatedly, I smiled. Maybe I didn't have that awesome, flashy childhood, I can't vividly recall. But it was quite obvious that he refused to let go of his. I shook my head and smiled some more.

Following his instructions, I formed my left hand into a gun. Then I focused my water chakra into that hand and further focus it into my index finger sticking out. I pressurize the water there and use my hidden ability to liquefy my finger, thus causing all that pressurized water to be released at once like a bullet. “BANG!”, I said to fulfill all righteousness.

This technique like most if not all Hozuki techniques works best in short range. The best way is to get real close and blast 'em. It's strength is that the opponent may never see it coming if used trickishly. They may be expecting a CQC but before they know it, you've gunned 'em down point blank.

YES!! That's it! Now you're having fun; BANG BANG!!
The second Mizukage began to laugh before actually responding to the technique.
Well, that was a good explanation. While getting into close-range may be tricky sometimes, this technique is very useful if you can because you can blast 'em away with minimal excessive movement and prep time. You did well. Now, if you have no questions, you can go on your way. Actually, know what? Even if you have questions, get out! I don't wanna see yur face anymore; it's not as entertaining as it used to be! You heard me; I'm bored. GET!
