I didn't read the manga, for most of it, I watched the episodes. It's pretty good, I really enjoyed it. Only problem with it is that the way they beat the tough guys is through their friendship. xd

It's great and I love it, I prefer manga over anime. Anime seems a bit less serious with all the colors and less bloody scenes.

Fairy Tail is just pure awesomeness, I'd highly recommend you to watch it.

If you enjoy action that is oriented around badassery, you will love Fairy Tail. Plot isn't the best, it's a shounen manga so not much to expect (More interesting then some shounen manga imo). I prefer the manga but the anime potrays the action very well. ^^

All in all, I recommend it!
