Today, my cousin was working her regular shift and a customer came in and ordered something. The people in the back got his order wrong and the customer became very angry. He began to rudely yell at my cousin while she was trying to get the manager, who also refused to speak with her in a rude manner.

The altercation took on a whole new level when my cousin gave him the right order outside near his car. He proceeded to call my cousin a N***er, throw his money, and spit in her face. My cousin quit after that, especially because her manager told her that she should've been more polite and respectful towards him, even when he did all that to her face.

How would you react? It pisses me off! I don't care who that person is, customer or no customer, that motherfu**** would've got curbstomped and beaten to bloody pulp if he threw money and spit in my face while calling me a N***er! THAT SHIT IS UNCALLED FOR!

I would've slit his eyelids in half, so he wouldn't blink when I stab him in the face!

I probably would've insulted the guy and noted the car's license plate number before cleaning my face. Then I would go to the police to report that ******* for bodily harm with the licence plate's number. I'd also yell at the manager if he blamed me for what happened.

Seems reasonable. But easy said than done for some people. A lot of people would react violently to something like that like....well....me. Not going to lie about that.

I'd sue the company.

For what?

Sure, I understand that. I wouldn't be able to stay calm either, but to resort to physical violence is another thing. It only brings you into trouble as well.

That's true. It's jjust I can't believe racism still exist in this world. I think racism is just retarded. Fighting over skin color and dehumanizing others is just..UGH! It gives me a headache.

I would've took one of those chicken breast or a thighs and slap him with it.

Yeah. Unfortunately lots of people still have the mental capability of cavemen. Fighting over skin colour, race, sexuality or religion. It's all plain stupid.

Sounds like a jerk in general. Being racist maybe just a cherry on top. The way you describe it he could have been just as obnoxious to others too, only thing would change the slurs he would be using.

Manager should have dealt with the situation though. And see if it's possible to sue him- of course it has to be merit based and how far you can take the case without much negative impact to self. So talk people before doing anything.

While to add on, make sure your sis didn't only tell you one sided story o-o She could be at fault, unless you were there too.

I would have made it a point to serve him again after that encounter and when I do, I'd add chloroform to his drink and then BAM quit after he takes his order :lmao::lmao:

That's ridiculous. I probably would have told both of them off and at the very least, report the manager.

For what?

I'm from the UK. In the UK a company is liable if they fail to comply to the code of racial equality. If the girl was subjected to racial abuse and the company did nothing but actually blame her it could be seen as the company promoting that as acceptable behaviour. No support was given to her and according to employment law they would then become liable.

i wouldnt have let that customer start yelling at me from the beginning. as soon as he started tripping about the order i wouldve told him to calm down or im not placing shit and that i had nothing to do with that, but am trying to help him now, so relax

you dont have to take people's shit like that, especially in the food industry where you can always find a job

People that crappy aren't worth your time, and acting aggressively toward them wouldn't change anyone's schema; it would actually just reinforce it. Being kind to miserable people instills cognitive dissonance, giving them an opportunity to re-evaluate their actions and belief systems.
