What does originality help you? He's currently in top 5 + he has creativity. Can't you see how he's used the Edo's and his new powers? That's right. If we go by that logic, no Uchiha is creative. The only creative people are Uzumaki's and Senju's. Uchiha's steal eyes from their brothers. That's not creative.

Creativity tends to help when it comes to development, which indirectly helps in battle. It also creates your own unique timestamp with skills you've either developed and changed or skills that you've originated yourself. His abilities aside from his medical ninjutsu, were not his own. He inserted Orochimaru into himself, he took Karin healing abilities as an Uzumaki, he took some of Suigetsu's abilities as well as Jugo's.

Using Edo Tensei with a binding method that incorperated using Orochimaru's cells which he stated Orochimaru and himself had perfected. Don't get me wrong he's a great antagonist, he's highly intelligent, however he lacks in creativity. I also stated before this is my opinion, nothing more.

Edit: Ah, I almost forgot the Uchiha point that you made. Using Itachi and Sasuke as an example, yeah sasuke took Itachi's eyes and gained Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan. But his variants of the sharingan are different. Amaterasu is another example of that said eye. Sasuke shape manipulation of this technique is a showcase of creativity. If it was the same as Itachi's without development then I could understand your point.
