How would you rank Kabuto's intelligence?

it depends on what ur opinion is about intelligence

if ur talking about intelligence in the circumstances of having great amount of knowledge then yea ............. this guy literally lives off of experiments ( like a researcher hence high intelligence )

he is quite battle smart coz he was able to counter tsusanoo with genjustu ofcoures kabuto would have run simulations for this but he did manage to counter

overall my take is j=he isnt intelligent and spontanious like minato tobirama kakashi etc but his intelligence lies in the amount of knowledge he has

knowing a shit load of justu , managing lo learn sage mode while resisting oro's cells , and all require great controll and intelligence
( if u know every damm justu and its provisions ur bound to be intelligent countering other hax justu)

What does originality help you? He's currently in top 5 + he has creativity. Can't you see how he's used the Edo's and his new powers? That's right. If we go by that logic, no Uchiha is creative. The only creative people are Uzumaki's and Senju's. Uchiha's steal eyes from their brothers. That's not creative.

He's very knowledgable and he's smart in battle as well, using techniques to counter the Uchiha bros arsenal and he was always shown to be intelligent before then. If I were to rate it, I'd give him a 4 or a 4.5
