How would the plot in The Last be if Hyuga Neji is alive?

If you suck at romance AND you still need it to string shippers along that implies you need a fallback point in case your plot deviates to shit and you run a risk of losing readers and hence bad writing

This is the same man who has no problem drawing 12 year old kids transforming into naked guy-guy/girl-girl couples, who has 12 year olds peeping at woman in baths, who makes **** jokes, has Naruto call Sakura a *****, has Naruto try and seduce Bee with a harem, makes the most homoerotic cover pages/speeches/moments of Naruto and sasuke, and yet you expect me to believe that writing a relationship between a pairing he wants to make canon is too embarrassing for him?!

Even If that's the case, and he really DID feel like that, he should NOT HAVE INTRODUCED ANY ROMANTIC SUB PLOTS TO BEGIN WITH. Hinata should NOT have loved Naruto, and Sakura should NOT have loved Sasuke. If he really didn't want to write romance, he should have handled it like OP and DBZ have done. But no, he did introduce the idea, yet half assed it. That's just pathetic.

Well, he sure strung you along pretty bad. It's all you seem to talk about. Every bad thing about Naruto and Hinata, and for that matter Sakura and Sasuke, can be simply explained by an out of universe reason. He didn't show any mutual love for any characters because of his first editor telling him to include a love triangle. That godawful 2 year timeskip in the movie is explained by Kishimoto wanting his characters to be over 18 before they were shown in any serious romantically charged scenes. People need to face the reality that the romance in this series just served as a tool to incite drama and in the very end was hastily resolved to give him the children for the next generation. It's painfully obvious he had these pairings mapped out from the start, but he chose not to mutually develop them. Oh well. Move on.

Nah, the same could happen, only Neji would be there too.

Why? Because according to the spoilers Neji wasn't mentioned in the movie, only a picture about him was shown by Hanabi. So the director didn't put that part into the movie, maybe just the hand holding (which became Naruto's and Hinata's "love trademark" since chapter 615).
