Since being Yonkou not only requires powerful crew, it also requires fleets of ships of other crews in your army, how will Luffy acquire them? My theory is some point in the future, Shanks might die in a battle and leave his fleet to Luffy.

Yeah I know, but since there are other Yonkou seeking to be pirate king/queen, you will have to defeat them before you get there. I dont think anyone wants to become a Yonkou, its just a title given to the most notorious pirates in the new world who are closest to one piece.

But why would he need the title and the crew and ships that supposedly go with it?
If Luffy doesn't care for this title then why would he even want to have a fleet?
I dont think its a matter of wanting it or not, its a necessity to survive and prevail in the new world. Yonkou just means the top pirate, and Luffy has to become one to get to one piece. I dont think he cares for the title.

Okay sure he will have that title but why would he want a fleet? It doesn't even make sense, he is all about having close friends with him and a fleet doesn't fit that so I don't think he would even want a fleet.
There is no hint that Luffy wants a fleet where did you even come up with that O_O
I dont think the four Yonkou started out with the intention of having fleets of ships, other pirate crews joined them one by one to show their allegiance. Since Luffy has grown notorious and is good at changing people's hearts, it is inevitable that many crews would want to join his fleet even if he had no original plan of that.

Well sure they would want to join, but maybe Luffy will be called a Yonkou without having fleet of ships. If you look at other aspirants of the title like Teach, they already have many at their command and are already powerful. Buggy will probably end up having more fleet of ships than Luffy!

That doesn't make sense, are you watching the same anime? This does not even look like it will happen like that. Everyone knows Luffy chooses who he wants O_O

I have never seen the anime. I only read the manga and have gone though them three times, so I know what is happening. The thread is not about how Luffy is so far, but what he will have to do to get to one piece, probably things that he never intended!

the anime sucks compared to others like naruto. OP manga is epic though, the rescue ace arc was so epic in manga, but it was pathetic in anime, almost like 80s quality.

you compare op anime with naruto and say it sucks knowing that 55% of naruto anime contains fillers that are terrible and op barely has not any fillers that you sometimes don´t even notice and that are great, sorry to say this but are you nuts?xd
I doubt getting allies would be a problem for Luffy, just look back at what happened in Impel Down.. but where do you get the idea Yonkou need a fleet? Shanks only has a rather small crew himself and hasn't shown any alliance with other pirates like what Whitebeard has.
Yonku and Luffy!!! My goodness!!! I have never even thought about it!!! LUffy is entirely different!!! He will only become Pirate King and nothing else!!!! NOTHING ELSE!!! I cannot even register the idea of him to become a Yonku. But as to how will he reach and surpass the level of Yonku???..... That would be a nice question (don't you think?)
