One thing I can tell you is that when you die you let go of everything and your loved ones will let you go when you die, people want to think it will be some emotional moment with people holding each other and crying and what not but when you die you give up everything related to this world as you leave it, I know it happens.

The only thing you are most likely to remember is your Karma and the real you, so think what you would be like if you had no influence of your current situation and people and your are 100% yourself with no desire to please or displease anyone around you, what do you feel and think? Proud of your actions or regretting? That's what you are most likely to see on a deathbed and it will probably determine whether your experience is peaceful or painful.
