[Discussion] How well informed are you on Global warming

Go green as much as possible. Research more on clean and renewable sources of energy. Plant a lot of trees and preserve the existing and cut emissions. That oughta solve it.

I do believe it is an issue we have to face as of now it comes down to the average person and what they can afford a government no matter how benevolent will not pay to go clean and at the moment cleaner cars are being made

Solar panels to an average person are quite an investment and im afraid thats a possible unrelistic possibly of happening purhapse it will within 5 years or so im not a fortune teller so i could be wrong and the world goes green in a month ether way there is much you can do to solve it from planting grass or even a tree coal plants will be a thing of the past just not yet since we would be in a way hurting ourselves by not having the other stuff ready but it will get there i believe

So that's a yes for both questions? So what was the point of arguing then?

And yeah we can literally switch to power ourselves with renewable energy today if we wanted to; which is why it's imperative that people understand how severe global warming is and why we must stop using fossil fuels, and the fact that we can make that switch easily.

Because it is was debate i wasnt arguing debating allows for more ideas and to bring forth more understanding

Reason why it cant happen today is mostly a mix of issues reguarding not enough jobs politcal or just stubborn

Or people stuck in there ways

Its a complicated problem most people are too poor and are afraid if jobs like coal plants die then what does it mean for them it could mean living on the street if they cant secure a job so thats why some of the jobs have remained open thats just something no amount of assurances can calm and with a downward ecconomy that worsens the chances of convincing people could make other plants like nuclear which can be cleaner then a coal plant but the very obvious dangers are present unless more advanced means of preventing leaks are assured and disposal but there are certainly better alternatives
