how was shisui such a weenie

So at the time he was the only living uchiha with mangekyo, he goes to use it on the uchiha to stop the coup and fails while also getting his eye ganked by danzou.... Idk I was really expecting shisui to be kinda badass seeing as he unlocked mangekyo so young but turns out he was a pretty big failure.

This is what I think. Danzou was there when Shisui was going to cast the jutsu to end the coup, and Danzou stopped him saying that they couldn't be sure that Shisui wasn't going to use a jutsu that would somehow strengthen the coup or make the uchihas feel angrier towards the leaf. Then, he probably took his eye, claiming it as a way to make sure Shisui stood in line and was loyal to the leaf. Shisui probably didn't fight back because he wanted to keep the peace and gain Danzou's trust.

Nope you're wrong. This is how I think it actually went down: shisui went to the uchiha and tried to give them (or just itachi's dad) the command-protect konoha but it was too much for him and even itachi couldn't take them on all by himself. Then Danzo, realizing shisui had failed and was weakened, took his eye. xd

Yeah I get where you are coming from, It didnt really make sense to me either that shisui handed his eye over to Itachi just to prevent danzo from getting it. From what we have heard from Ao, and the manga, shisui was meant to be a really powerful shinobi, and even given the name "shushin no shisui"
I really wonder how danzo "stole" shisui's right eye?:shrug:

The only person that Shisui beat was that Hygun eye sensor stealer, who is at HQ. Overall not Shisui hasnt done much
