The learning part is not that hard, you could learn it from a scroll, and since so far only skilled shinobi used it (the 2 Hokage) i guess it is not that hard for them to learn a jutsu just knowing what it does and the right handseals.

Does it honestly matter we know exactly as much as you do no one else who has read all of the manga so far would no any more than me or you on how to practice the dead demon consuming seal so why even ask this question especially when all your doing is shooting down other peoples attempts to give there suggestions
I've shot nobody's suggestions down except the one who posted about a fail thread; in the case of Dr. House, based on his responses, it didn't seem to me that he actually answered the question I was asking. In the sense of your post, why have any "[character] vs. [character]", especially when the Base is littered with one-sided fanboys? The same question can be asked for ANY post that isn't strictly canon. This thread is simply for peoples' ideas and theories—and those that post (and it's actually an idea, not a regurgitation of what everyone already knows) usually get a response.

hmm. i was wondering about that since few years and now u posted a q then i think i should share my idea too, first i thought that this jutsu can be tought just by teaching the hand signs but again u can do hand signs build up chakra but u could not know if u r power full enough to summon the death god EXAMPLE: naruto knew the hand signs for summoning jutsu but could not summon toad because he did not know the amount of chakra needed to summon a particular size of toad so he did it multiple time from tadpole to bunta and gamakichi, same goes for sasuke he learned the fire stayle hand signs from his father but he had to practice a long time to be able to understand the amount of chakra needed for summoning fire from his mouth,so i really do not think that any body no matter how gifted a ninja could learn a teqneque like this just from the scroll or hand sign since this jutsu is always comes as a last resort that means faliour is not an option so my latest guess is that it may be possible to practice this jutsu and summon death god but he dose not seal user,s soul since the caster is not using the jutsu (i mean practicle application like sealing some one) because we can see that boath minato and hiruzen got a sealing mark on there belly after sealing there apponents and after that death god actually yanked their soul so i think it is possible to practice this jutsu without daying well that's my idea and it may be wrong but some how i am getting the feal that the jutsu minato left for naruto to perfect might be this particular jutsu since it is said that a jinchuriki can not cast this jutsu so somehow naruto may be able to cast this jutsu and insted of him death god takes kurama with him and seal it with tobi since he really want the nine taills it will be best if naruto uses that jutsu on him and that sucker got to become a room partner of kurama he he he he.

When performing sealing jutsu It's kind of like doing math, or baking cookies you have to know the right formula of handseals to get the correct result. And when using the death reaper seal if you sid it correctly the demon will appear to the user if you messesd up it won't.
. those hand seals and a fair control in chakra ... is the key to summons the death god seal tech ... no one can practice it... it's like summoning technique.xdyou have to know of its existence and what does it do. You'd have to practice with a bomb before launching it? but i don't think you need to practice it. As you have summoned it, your life's goal depends on it. I'm pretty sure as you have summoned it, you'll get the hang of it pretty quick

Yes, you have to know the hand seals; my question is though, even if you know the hand seals, how can you know that they work without trying it before hand? In other words, how could you rely on this technique to win a battle, if you had no previous, self-obtained proof that it worked?
It's probably all about theory over practice. Once you have the theory down, it should presumably work. Also, it's probably based on a lesser technique that they could practice with instead. Basically the same way I imagine Deidara knew his C0, Danzo knew the Reverse Tetragram Sealing, and various Uchiha knew Izanagi would all work.

Chijou could train the reanimation jutsu by practicing it on puppets but not giving it her full lefe energy, just like how she healed Sakura. The dead demon consuming seal had already been explained how it could be trained, but then there is the last one which I can't understand. How can a shinobi knows if he can open the the eight gate, because opening it is 100% chance on death.
Also I dont think Minato invneted the dead demon consuming seal. It was probably invented by the shinobi of the hidden eddy village and taught to him by Kushina.

You do have a point with Chiyo's training of her Life-Giving technique, but in the case of Dead Demon Consuming Seal (from what I understand, anyway), you can't practice SOME of the jutsu and be sure it works; you'd have to practice the whole thing. Although, you claim that it's already been explained how the Dead Demon Consuming Seal is trained—I won't label your claim invalid, as I did not read the manga for quite some time. However, I don't remember it ever being shown how it's trained; could you show me where?
As for your point with the opening of the Eighth Gate, it is exactly the same question I'm asking here! =] How can Guy ACTUALLY know he can open the Eighth Gate? :O

If you stop molding and focusing your chakra almost all jutsu fizzle and crap out. So if you start to see the death god stop molding chakra and release the jutsu?
