How to RPG Thread

Well, there have been a lot of threads by new members on how to play the NarutoBase RPG.
Some examples here :

Currently, we just have a set of rankings, a jutsu list , a short note on how to fight in the Rules thread,
However, I suggest there should be a new Sticky thread on How to RPG, where it includes directions to begin playing with approppriate links to other threads.
For example, it could begin like this :

First, you need to make a bio to select your character to play with. The rules for the Bio are to be found here ( give link here ) and the Template is here ( give link here ). The Bio character can either be one found in Naruto or your made up character
Once done, it should be approved by a moderator. When it is approved, you can play as that character.

Your rankings can be found here ( give link here )....

and so on.
This would not only benefit the new members, but also save the mods time and effort.
What do you think ppl ?

i think it would be helpful because Alot of new people dont know where to start, where to find information, how to battle, ect. I think this would be a good idea

Me personally i think this is a good idea but it could be taken further by making a ''noobie'' thread as a sticky explaining about everything.......this having all the links that they need and saving tons of spam threads?

yes, but there are not many threads on how to manga post and stuff, its just the RPG.

Im not knocking the idea i think its good i think they could make both the ideas instead of spam threads and everyone having to answer questions and the mods having to close so many threads....

How to RP:

On NB the Role Playing is divided in 2 major sections. Regular RP and Battle RP.

Regular RP:

►Located here:

You must be registered for see links

You can role play by building your own house or shop, you can go out on dates, get rp married, recruit members etc, everything that has to do with your "everyday life" on nb and your relationships with other members.

►The easiest way to rp is to type what your rp character says or does between these ** , but of course you can use the traditional rp system by only typing : and " when your character is speaking.

►You can refer to yourself in either first or third person like this:

*Rei walks in*
*walks in*
*I walk in*

► and most importantly you have to respect the Forum Rules:

You must be registered for see links

as double posting, cussing and flaming other members is not allowed.


Battle RP:

On NB, since we are all shinobis we fight each other and start wars.
Of course creating a battle character and fight is optional, not every member is interesting in battles, but if you are this is how you do it:

► First of all read the Battle Arena Rules:

You must be registered for see links

► Then go here

You must be registered for see links

and create a biography for your character, you cannot fight until your biography gets approved by one of the mods in charge of this section. Make sure you read some other bios first to get an idea of what you need to do, and of course create your bio according to the biography rules:

► After your biography gets approved go here

You must be registered for see links

and search for threads created by senseis (orange username color) who are willing to take more students, or contact them here *will add the list when it gets updated* through pm or vm but remember that one message is enough.

►Alternatively, you can start giving fights at once, but only using taijutsu and the weapons you chose to select in your biography. To use jutsus or bloodline limits you need to get trained first.

► Keep in mind, that senseis willing to take more students are not always available so you might have to wait until someone is ready to train you.

1 suggestion... we arent allowed to make threads asking for senseis... (lots of spam and pointless threads)
Link them to a list of the senseis and tell them to send a visitor message on their profiles or private message them instead...

also i think a list of the current senseis should be re-made or updated and it should include what those senseis teach as well as what their specialty is...
AND show their current status...
such as
Madara: Currently Inactive
Elias: Currently Inactive
Bishamon: Not Taking Students
so on and so forth...

instead of flaming them and discouraging them...
