I'm not saying it will happen but I think kishi might end it this way for their final battle, whether in shippuden or whatever. Honestly I don't think sasuke will ever return to being a good guy.

I can see it. Maybe the only way Naruto can bring Sasuke back is to let himself die for Sasuke's sake, and Sasuke will realize his wrongs before he dies. Of course, Kishi will revive them like every other good guy that dies though

I dont think so...though I suppose it is possible. But I just hope he reaches Hokage before it happens. Cause otherwise tsunade's fear/curse strikes again and it goes against like the whole series in showing that naruto will never give up on being hokage.

Naruto pretty much can't die until he becomes Hokage, and it looks like Kishi is setting up Sasuke as the major future villain. I think Shippuden might end with Naruto becoming Hokage, then Naruto GT starts up with everyone a few years older again. That mutual kill thing might happen after that, since Naruto foreshadowed it at their last meeting.

No I don't think so I think itatchi is going to do something before Edo is completely gone which gives him both senju chakra enabling sasuke access to rinnegan and something like an inner mind block to make him forget about his revenge on the village

and i don't think naruto planned on dying with sasuke he thinks if they understand one another he can change him like how iruka changed naruto by empathizing with naruto because iruka and naruto had no parents
