How the Hyuuga actually stack up against Uchiha?

He was. Deidara was a long-range fighter that gave him the advantage, Sasuke's Raiton was shown only to be able to diffuse smaller bombs, and Deidara had assistance which enabled him to box Sasuke in.

yeah like i said the only feats by the uchiha are pretty much the old generation of uchiha which i believe to be way stronger than the current one sasuke was born to after all the past uchiha were in wartime's send to kill as kids and were force to be stronger or die by enemy hands but yeah i agree they are strong but not that strong but yeah they were the strongest clan but not by that much in my opinion

As I've said before, I know that every single relevant Uchiha > every single relevant Hyuga. However, I still believe the Hyuga's arsenal acts as a natural counter to the Uchiha's arsenal.
I think the best way to describe this would be to use Pokemon as an analogy.
Water type (Hyuga) beats fire type (Uchiha), we all know that. But if the Fire type is of a higher level enough than than the water type, it'll win. However, if they are on equal level, than almost certainly the water type will win.

Hyuuga techs don't rival Uchiha. Not even remotely.

Your thread is the exact opposite of mine.
read through it and a lot of your points were reaching. It doesn't address anything written in my thread and you used rare Hyuuga techs to make Byakugan look better than the base sharingan.
That's irrelevant when Sasuke has to get in close to attack Deidara whereas Deidara can keep a safe distance away from Sasuke and still battle aggressively.
Elemental Advantage doesn't imply he can diffuse all of his bombs because both user's skill comes into play. The only thing that was shown was Sasuke's ability to counter Deidara's smaller bombs with Raiton.
Sasuke's Raiton did prove to be effective against C4, but if he were engulfed by the entire bomb, then he obviously would've died.
Raiton has the overall advantage over Doton, but that's dependent on both of the user's skill. Even then, considering most of Sasuke's Raiton techniques are mid-range with the highest range being only 5m, it leaves him susceptible to Deidara's bombs which he can detonate at any given moment with just a seal. Doesn't matter if Sasuke can diffuse it when Deidara can simply release all of that chakra before Sasuke's Raiton makes contact with Deidara's bomb.
He was just beginning the process of kneading chakra for the attack, so the likelihood of him only having a very minimal amount of chakra built up is pretty high.

I believe so. I mean Deidara is from the rock village or something so it should be common sense that raiton counters. That and Kuro and onoki know deidara.

First that pages you posted just your reasoning not the facts.....Secondly I think that high level perception is a 3t thing not just in 1t or 2t And a, fact remember Danzo had all 3t on his arm, He was said to have acquired them after killing countless Uchihas, probably the whole clan so that might just indicate that even the 3t was a rarity. And the nail in the coffin would be this..I would still say that Uchiha's attitude and the general mindset of people that was formed against them caused all the hype...Yes they are powerful but when you atart fearing something don't you automatically make it too OP...i think that was also a case

... At any given generation different Clans produces out standing shinobi's e.g Sarutobi, Danzo, Minato Raikage's, Hatake Sakumo. Which probably at the time no Uchiha can rival. The Uchiha's where best on an average scale compare to other Clans, if they were as powerful as hyped no most Clans would be extinct bcos of rivalries during the war times. For fans to write of the hyuuga of all it's just Ridiculous.
I think Kishi senpai made the show a little unbalanced at the end, that wasn't his finest moments.
