It clearly says during the battle. Read the f scan. Hashirama cannot obtain Kurama during the fight, he just put him to sleep then Mito during the fight seal it in her to prevent the Kyubi to start attacking again if he wakes up.

Except the Bijuu were literally his "objects", hence why he was capable of distributing them amongst the entire Shinobi World.

Isn't strong chakra and high chakra reserves basically the same thing in this case? I mean Naruto can do thousands of shadow clones without the help of Kurama. Even without kurama Naruto has a lot more chakra than Kakashi for example.

No Itachi have a strong chakra but Sasuke's chakra is bigger and stronger than his. It's quality and quantity.

Naruto is an Ashura transmigrant and since he had Kurama in him it's chakra was leaking and mixing into Naruto's own reserves since he was a baby that's why his reserves are so big. Without Kurama he would have a strong chakra like Kushina does. Kakashi also isn't a good example when his reserves wasn't anything special to begin with.
