I suppose he was the best they could get at that time. Or they just seriously overestimated his ability.Buggy became warlord because of false hype and his sovereignty.
His followers were one of the most deadly pirates in impel down level six.
There's strength in numbers and during the war, Whitebeard himself thought dealing with Buggy's followers as also troublesome.
Now you cannot say the same for the rest of the warlords, especially after what Kaidou did to Moria's crew yet still gaining/maintains such status.
Is that true? I always thought he became Shichibukai during the time he started creating his Zombie army :|Buggy has numbers, but Moriah rolled solo when he was made Shichibukai :| Remember? His crew got slaughtered by Kaido
Maybe so, I really don't know but Cavendish or other upper generation of warlord's colleagues could of been suggested.I suppose he was the best they could get at that time. Or they just seriously overestimated his ability.
I assume if he'd absorb as many shadows as he did on Thriller Bark, he could give the likes of Boa Hancock or PTS Kid a run for their money or even possibly beat them. Maybe he could beat 2-3 Pacifistas aswell?Maybe so, I really don't know but Cavendish or other upper generation of warlord's colleagues could of been suggested.
How strong would you rate Asgard Moria btw?
Which character would you compare him too?
That's interesting and I do agree.I assume if he'd absorb as many shadows as he did on Thriller Bark, he could give the likes of Boa Hancock or PTS Kid a run for their money or even possibly beat them. Maybe he could beat 2-3 Pacifistas aswell?
Now, I know that an already weakened and exhausted Luffy beat him, but then again Luffy could tank Moria's punches thanks to his DF and I doubt that "normal" people would be able to handle those punches as easily.
And you can't really count that time when Jinbei negged Moria at Marineford, since Moria only absorbed a handful of shadows there.
So yeah, I don't think he was that weak.
Honestly, I feel like Boa is only dangerous in CQC with her petrifying kicks etc. Moria's fighting style revolves mostly around his shadow shenanigans, like the clone thing you mentioned. I don't think that Boa can do anything to him. I could be wrong on that one though.I never thought about him beating Boa Hancock though, can he?
I don't think he's returning to the new world after what he said to luffy. He is not weak , bet he was strong when he faced kaido but he became weak after the defeat .. He also lost his crew anyone would get a trauma from that he stopped training or something !
Wait untill he shows up again in the new world to see his real power !
