Wikia is written by people like you and me. It can be edited by anyone which is why its credibility is questionable. You shouldn't take everything written there as a fact and more so you shouldn't qoute it.
The fleet he destroyed was East Blue pirate's Don Krieg's fleet of 50 ships and 50,000 men.
According to Mihawk, he did so because they disturbed his nap :scorps:
It's true that he came out of the war unscathed but so did Hancock, Kizaru, VA's and couple of other important people.

Dracule Mihawk. The strongest swordsman in the world, and wielder of the worlds strongest sword. He is able to go toe to toe with Red Hair Shanks, and seeing how Shanks is one of the 4 strongest pirates that doesn't say litle. Mihawk didn't get damaged during the war of best, that's true. We've also seen Mihawk beeing able to slice ships with just a single slash... And we almost has too guarantee that he has atleast CoA Haki. So Summa Sumarum... He's a beast, and I think he's stronger than most of the people in OP. I bet he's stronger than both Luffy and Zoro.

Should be taken into consideration that happened in the beginning of the Grandline, where the weather is particularly chaotic. And they were in fact caught in a storm. While Mihawk was indeed strong enough to take quite a lot of ships, the great majority was not only distracted and made useless by the waves and rain, they were also destroyed and dragged to the bottom of the ocean. So it's more like Mihawk aided the storm destroying the fleet.

Mihawk was able to casually slice a frozen tsunami cleanly in two. Due to the size of the tsunami (which was calculated in the OBD to be 3 kilometers wide and 1 kilometer tall), this feat alone easily puts Mihawk at the town level+ range.
He was also to casually dominate Gear 2nd Luffy, tagging him with a ranged slash mid-soru while closing his eyes. This feat alone easily put him in the double digit Mach speed.
Furthermore, if we were to powerscale, Mihawk should be around Admiral level.
