[Question] how strong is marco the phoenix?

There is a limit to how much Marco can regenerate. Oda said it himself in a marineford SBS.

He's definitely top tier. Admiral level as he fought against Kizaru with not much difficulty and he easily withstood Shanks CoH.

Not really. It wasn't even a fight, it was a minor scuffle. Not enough to determine the result of an entire fight. The only time one can is if someone as completely blown out of water.

Law and Luffy was slated to be 100 times weaker than Ray and they withstood his Haoshoku easily. Marco could be anywhere between 100 and 10 thinkers weaker than Shanks.

I believe Marco attacked Akainu multiple times and it did nothing to him. All it took was one distraction to cost Marco his fight with Kizaru and that shows a clear difference in strength. Since the opponent was on another level/tier, getting distracted was out of the question. Luffygot distracted against Lucci and it didn't cost him...WB got distracted against Akainu and it didn't cost him. Why? Because they were on the same level.

It was said only the yonkou and maybe Marco(pirates) can stop BB and Marco could only tussle with an admiral. I sense some inconsistences.

Every time I see people saying that Marco fought on par with Kizaru or that he is equal to Kizaru or ANY admiral for that matter, I wanna puke v_v

The portrayal was clear. Marco just tanked an attack and kicked Kizaru, only for the latter to come back in an instant and un-scratched...Marco would get mid-high diffed by any Admiral, just like Jozu,Sabo and Doflamingo. He's in the same league pool as them IMO v_v

He just has an OP fruit. That's all. Plus his offensive capabilities are pretty lacking so yeah...Ain't buying that Marco hype.

What does that mean or have to do with my post? If anything I think Jozu is above the likes of Doflamingo.

U make it look like Marco was immediately beaten once he was off-guard, Kizaru wasnt beating him if anything he attacked him from behind with the lasers but Marco was strong enough to keep going after WB, it was Onigumo that ended his demise when he put the kairoseki cuffs on him, basically any top-tier would be beaten if they had cuffs on.

I also dont think that the guy is as strong as other Yonkos/Admirals, but u made him look like a chump which he completely isnt, he would give any admiral/Yonko a good high-diff fight, no more or less.

The fact that he was mentioned in the the same breath as the other Yonkos talks volume about him, whether u like it or not that's how he was portrayed by the Gorosei itself, thinking that he was called so just because he knows Teach is an completely baseless assumption that doesnt really makes sense at all.
