Based on his performance against Hidan, Asuma isn't contesting Gai in CQC at all. This dude was efficiently fighting alongside KCM Naruto in base, and looked more impressive then him against Obito.

What speed feats does Yamato have to catch someone as fast, reflexive, and perceptive as Gai? His strength should be more then capable of smashing through Mokuton.

When you look at the staggering difference between hiachi's double wall palm on juubi then compare it to neji's lackluster feat against a water clone of a clone of kisame (literally 3% kisame) id say theres a difference.

Naruto sucks in CQC he isn't known for skills nor is he fast in CQC. He has a fast Shunshin (ninjutsu) and that is all! He has chakra arms and nothing that suggest he is even sub par in Taijutsu. He is what we call a Brawler. Which means no skills just swing and hope to hit what ever. Why do only the Uchiha fans think KCN is a beast or elite in Taijutsu???
