[Discussion] How strong do you think Coby is by now?

We haven't seen him fighting but we've seen some impressive strength and speed feats from him.

He's now a captain. Pre-skip Smoker was a captain so how strong do you think Coby really is?

Considering that he was trained by Garp for 2 years i think he's way above the ranks of a captain.

I don't think he's on par with Luffy yet but he's definately getting closer.

Current Coby is atleast miles above Pre-Skip Luffy. I'd say he's weaker than Sanji but stronger than the rest of the Straw Hats.

Ohh and he has Haki now.

He is definitly stronger than Lucci. 2 years with garp and his crazy growth-rate makes him a High Rear Admirial IMO.

As you can know he is an CAPTAIN now which is one rank below COMMODORE in which Smoker was introduced with. So you could say from that power scaling that , he is still fairly weak. Any pirate with a bounty of 50 million beri could probably beat Coby up with ease. ​

First of all, Oda made it clear that bounty shouldn't be used as a power scale & besides you're saying someone like pre-TS bellamy who had 55m could beat Coby? I don't think so.

It was just an example. Captain is lower than Commodore and lets face it. If Smoker didn't have his devil fruit he wouldn't have been that strong and possibly could;ve been KO'd by Luffy Pre-ts.

DOnt get me wrong, i like Coby I'm trying to say that he isn't all that strong atm but i acknowledge he has grown stronger dramatically !!

Coby should be around Pre-timeskip Luffy level...despite the fact it's a bit of an asspull in the first place that Coby is gaining the strength he has in the time span he's been training...I had always hoped Coby would be a sort of monster for the Pirates after Luffy's generation had passed at least then the power he's gained would be realistic.

For some reason Oda has given Coby a better strength growth than both Luffy and Ace which...makes no sense as Coby is a nobody really I doubt he's a D as well...(But it wouldn't surprise me if he was...) This is the reason why I dislike his character makes no sense at all and he's given power just for the sake of it...

By the time EoS comes around I think Coby will be Admiral level...

He's stronger than his rank thats for sure, coz he has haki n received trainning from a haki beast. If he has soru n kenboshoku haki then he above skypeia priest IMO, if he has genpo, bosushoku n can now do rankyaku like attacks(like in episode of Luffy) then he's probably a tad bit above EL Lucci n thats 300mil beri lvl, so he cld tussle with lower lvl supanova

Coby and Foddershigi are both Captains. By what Coby displayed i would put him leagues above Tashigi. He's definately above his rank.

Coby should be good deal stronger than pre timeskip Luffy. I would put him in the same league as the middle trio, where Tashigi is.

Hang on a minute... You think Ace with his devil fruit alone is stronger than Luffy. And then you think that's a huge powerup? Franky occupies awkward middleground. The M3 OS's Pacifista. He doesn't OS them but he low diffs them. Going by your logic in the other thread: If Coby ate the Mera Mera no Mi he would surpass Luffy (he actually has Haki and Rokushiki); Please have some consistency.

To be fair it's not that huge a powerup seeing as Franky is very strong already.

His physical abilities, haki usuage, devil fruit, experience would put Ace on the same level as the M3 etc. Coby's physical abilities etc is far from the M3 and just the power of a fruit wouldn't put him up there with them. Franky is not low diffing a Pacifista. They would put up a good fight but he would win in the end.

Definitely not stronger than pre T.S Lucci. Lucci was way better in Rokushiki than Coby is right now(atleast from what Coby has shown right now). Add his zoan DF in that too.

Ace has no Haki feats and therefore no Haki. Coby has Haki and Rokushiki so please : maintain consistency.
