Dont need to give mom and dad $49..But give them $48.50 each others..the price of that shirt is $97..$97 divides by 2=$48.50..SO,now u will get balance $3..you owe $1..and then give more $1 to mom and dad each others..So all $100(Hope you guys understand bcoz my english is bad XD)

you already gave them 2$ you only need to give them 98 more and that is 49 each

98 and 2 is 100

the 1 you get is irrelevant you can count it in the 98 you still owe them or replace it

Well If you consider your parents as one entity you would owe them $100 and if you paid them two dollars you would owe them $98 so that means that the extra dollar is still with you and you pay them that dollar you would owe them 97 so the extra dollar didnt go anywhere except for your parents pocket either that or taxes..........
