Just look at Star Wars and Star Trek Fans, most of them are as old (or even older) than our parents, professional doctors, lawyers, engineers, etc. and yet they still watch, read and purchase merchandise from those franchises.

It's funny when people say above 20 or 30 is too old when the mangaka is usually above 30.

My answer is there is no age limit when you should stop.

Wow, some of the answers on here are pretty ignorant, claiming people in their 20s too old to enjoy manga...

I'm 30, having a family, a regular job and all, and still enjoy manga/anime as one of my hobbies. Same goes for videogaming, superhero/horrormovies etc., and I don't see myself stopping it.:)

So, 13 year olds are tight when they watch hardcore pornography which such extreme objectification, but it's wrong for an adult to enjoy a harmless manga? All right. I am 25 FYI and not a major manga and anime fan but I do happen to be a hardcore videogamer. I could care less what anyone thinks about me. I will enjoy what I like till I decide to drop it myself.

It all depends on the fact that how much courage an individual has to stick to his own convictions and ideals. If he veers from his course, then I would deem him just another run-of-the-mill individual who does so and so to simply socialize. There is nothing more pitiful and pathetic in my view than this. Hope this answered your question.

I know a 29 year old who reads it and he hides it from his girlfriend and says she'll probably leave him :S

Wow. That has to be a pretty superficial girlfriend. My girlfriend is ok with it, she is not into manga herself, but tolerates it.

Really? Comics have never been more prominent in the US than it has today. It's taken over the filmverse. People love them and don't look at comics as that way anymore really.

I don't think there is an age limit.
