No, you can't say that based on the interview, here this is from an earlier post.

He was referring to Sakura's reason for loving Sasuke, he didn't say anything about the relationship. It is not riding on the reason for Sakura's love and Kishi knows it, yet he still has them marry and have a child.

SS is the most popular pairing (most hated as well), people who like it do so for several reasons, "Sakura's reason for loving Sasuke" is not one of them. :lol Even though Sakura might not have had a reason for loving Sasuke, Sasuke had many reasons for reciprocating her. The reason for her love was not a maker, the actual love was. Why would Kishi talk about a weakness when he can highlight a strength?
