My first real post on the base! This theory is actually the reason I finally decided to join up, cause I just couldn't join without a proper thread
(at least i hope it's a bit interesting)
Anyway, the theory:
I will try to keep it simple cause I don't want to make any uneccesary assumptions. I think it's quite clear that sasuke is too angry to be turned back into 'normal' with naruto's 'Talk no jutsu'. Kishi always compared naruto en sasuke with jiraiya and Orochimaru, and just talking didn't help with oro either (wich doesn't particulary mean anything, I know).
This morning I connected three seperate things together:
1. Naruto being a descendent from the Uzumaki's, who are know for very powerfull sealing techniques.
2. Naruto having the abillity to control (sort off) black and white chakra. Black representing darkness and white representing the light. (we don't know all about it yet, but I think you can at least say this)
3. Naruto wants to get rid off the anger inside sasuke...
1 + 2 + 3 = ..
See where I'm going?
Untill here it seems pretty plausible too me, and this is the main part of my theory.
On a side note:
It could even provide a theory for two other popular questions as well:
- We still don't know what 'that jutsu' is the jiraiya teached Naruto. Lets say that jirairy thougth naruto a powerfull sealing technique (wich is the best theory I've read so far). Wich is possible cause it will show off jiraiya's greatness(we all know that Kishi likes to honor dead ninjasxd).
- Itachi's gift to naruto is something we don't know anything about as well. The only thing I do know (and I don't deserve credits for this, cause i read this theory on the base a year ago but I couldn't find it anymore) is that Kishi likes to have parallels with japanese mythology. Itachi possessed Totsukas sword and the Yata mirror. In the mythology there is a 'jewl' joining those two legendary items. Lets say that Itachi gave Naruto the jewl. Naruto is suppose to use it against sasuke.
My conclusion:
Naruto and Sasuke are fighting untill the point off exhaustion --> Naruto realizes he can't talk to sasuke --> He uses his Uzumaki powers and the technique of his sensei to seal away sasuke's darkness --> He uses the jewl too store the darkness and get rid off it (wich itachi knew he could cause itachi is just.. well.. itachi)
Would be a pretty epic ending!
