OT: Millions of merchandise, mangas, video games, trading card games, anime, DVDs (not sure if there's Naruto Blu-ray), movies, how-to books... *hentai doujinshis*

Millions of these are sold every year. Of course Kishimoto doesn't get to keep ALL the money, but what he gets, it's probably over or at least very close to a $1M (maybe even stronger in Yen). This times 10+ years that Naruto has been selling, Kishi is def happy with his millions of yen, and probably making his wife cosplay as different Naruto girls everytime day.

As for Oda, over a million a year doesn't seem unbelievable. One Piece breaks sales records for every manga released.
