Oh, i see. A rock that big coming in at average meteor speed would wipe us out i assume, considering smaller ones have managed to life wipe. But the orb might have ended up in orbit and became a second moon.

This is the size of the earth relative to the moon (distance not included). Unless the scan looks like this than the scaling is different from that of the normal world

The moon is created by pulling pieces. Thus it would have caused a lot of destruction.
