Kagebunshins die instantly at penetrating wounds or higher because the pain felt from any sharp thing is reaching the real Naruto and makes him lose focus => In Kagebunshin Poof.

Now, this clone in particular had just been doing physical fighting which involves punches and kicks. It's something on an incredible lower level than jutstus and Naruto is used to such pain. Remember everything a Kagebunshin feels, it goes directly to Naruto thus making him understand or learn more without really physically suffer that pain, etc.

Naruto vs kaguya is an example how his Kagebunshi works is so powerful and useful per se.

Sasuke verified that's the real naruto when he activated his sharingan. I really doubt there'd be much point to activating it with his little supply of chakra that he stole if not to confirm his kill with it.

In the fight with Kaguya,, she still cant located or recognize Naruto is Kagebunshin even with the same eye with sasuke. It's kaguya we talking about.
