well, then you are very unique and should be happy. there are advantages to being color blind. color blindness simply means that you were born with more rods than cones in your eye. cones are receptors designed to see color and details while rods are used for capturing greater amounts of light. next time someone teases you, look out into the distances as far as you can and pick out an object. chances are a person with normal vision can't see it as your cone deficiency gives you better long distances vision. as well, have them try to see something at night as well as you can.. they can't do it. rods are your light receptors, being color blind means you should have much better night vision than someone with normal vision
