Hmm I think about 3 but I am really really not sure, but hiruzen could make 3 at old age so maybe 3 is a low number. Also White zetsu is hashi dna and it seems to be able to multiply, so I really don't know

Maybe clones are not his fighting style and he uses his chakra for other things

Actually people can make as much as their chakra pool. Unless it is not your fighting style then you won't make any.

Well if he was the one to put the Multi-Shadow Clone technique in the scroll Naruto used then I'd say he could possibly make 100s (or 100s of wood clones perhaps). Being a Senju has its perks.

If Hashirama can make as many clones as Naruto than he is pretty OP since unlike Naruto clones, his are extremely durable and would pack up a punch. Would like to see him do that but than we'd have threads where Hashirama can solo the Uchiha clan and whatnot.
