How Madara Uchiha could have died?

How in the world could Madara Uchiha had died? In my opinion he died out of sicknes, because there is no way any shinobi would beat with EMS and Rinnegan, and besides I believe he knew he was dying, he already had made plans with Nagato to use Edo Tensei on him in case it happened, well that's why I think, How about you guys any ideas? :shrug:

For the last time, he didnt acquire the Rinnegan until the final stages of his life AKA when he was dying (said so by Madara himself). Secondly, the EMS is nothing but a overhyped eye. It is literally nothing more than a MS that never will blind you. Its not going to give you Level 89 warlock status, or whatever the hell the correct term is.

i think the ems is supposed to come with another ability XD but... no one knows it yet. But right now its just sort of a ms with a cooler design XD.

when he fought hashirama he hadn't unlock rinnegan yet,
