In the scans listed, Madara is seen stealing chakra. Through hand, and leg. With this knowledge we can conclude that he can absorb chakra through any limb.
In the above scan,we see a white zetsu absorbing Neji's chakra. Through his mouth and extended limbs.
Madara loses an arm and quickly replaces it, quite easily, with the arm of the white zetsu. A white zetsu must have taken host in his body by command of Madara. Madara has complete control, so more like Madara has taken host of the white Zetsu.
White zetsu are made from Hashirama cells. i.e. how they absorb chakra. As further proof, they can even manipulate the earth, using it as it's sense of sight. Also turn into trees.
Madara use to use Hashi's Cells and Mazou chakra to survive. He even replaced Obito's crushed half with the Zetsu.
He now has unlimited Zetsu at his disposal. The same way Orochimaru is inhabiting a white Zetsu.
I say he has unlimited Zetsu at his disposal becausse the tree hasn't been shown to come to a stop of it's producing the white Zetsu.
This is how Madara's chakra seems "unlimited" He can cannot use Hashi's Healing Technique, or he would have healed his own arm.
If it were so strong, it should be able to heal complete limbs.
