Well, i'd say they were extremely salty, considering their attempts to change the subject. I think they still are actually. I mean, it must be hard to accept that the closest their main character could ever get to the guy they said he would pummel, was a tie. Such a shame really. I guess I could understand why they're in denial.

Naruto won simply because he was still awake and thus could have taken out a Kuna I and stabbed him. He was also the one who did most of the work against every person they fought have a nice day

Don't expect to get some decent answers. NB's jimmies are together with MB's the most rustled one and the easiest to rustle. Most of them are still mad because of the draw and keep posting the "I lost" pannel.

I don't know how they reacted to Narutos lose on this forum but I can remember that they were in general rustled as heck and some time after that straight out ignored that fight. Many of them up until now deny that it was a fight and that Naruto lost. They do so even if you show them the pannels were Naruto cries about his weakness and when he tells that he was inferior. They still keep trolling with Naruto>Sasuke at the beginning of Shippuuden or with that "it wasn't a real fight" shi*.

I see people that still don't consider it a fight, but I have never seen the full effect of what they felt.

Wasn't upset at all. If you're talking about the "Rescue Sasuke Arc", then Kishi had to establish Sasuke's strength and that it wouldn't be easy to turn him around. It also served the purpose of strengthing Naruto in not only his strength, but his resolve as well. In the end Naruto not only saved Sasuke, but also gained the power to truly stand toe to toe and "beat" him.
