No he wasn't. Granted, he was made damn hard to kill by some fcked up forbidden techniques but he was not an immortal. There is no such thing as true immortality in the Naruto world. Kakuzu states this himself:I beg to differ...
After experiments with Jashin's secret technique, Hidan was granted immortality...
He doesn't have to, they just crawl in his stomach and get digested.how does he swallow them?
Just because Kabuza states it doesn't make it truth...the Naruto world is filled with lies. Who said that Hidan had to tell Kabuza everything about him and where is it written that they kept no secrets from one another? They were partners...that's it. If you were basing your answer simply on what a character says, you'd still be running around saying that Tobi is Madara. And yes, Kishimoto did say that Hidan can die from lack of nutrition, but my question was HOW LONG would it take for Hidan to die. Again, if he was "normal" he would have died when his head was cut off initially...No he wasn't. As Hidan's partner he has no reason to exclude Hidan from this statement. He would know Hidan's powers and his limits like the back of his hand.
It's stated in the Naruto databooks, by Kishimoto, that Hidan can die from lack of nutrients - starvation.
Wow. You need to learn how to keep a discussion on topic.Just because Kabuza states it doesn't make it truth...the Naruto world is filled with lies. Yet, you decide to retort and tell me that he's immortal. Now you're saying that Kishi stated that Hidan can die, which was my point from the very beginning.Hidan is not immortal.
He can die. By definition this rules out immortality. There's no reason for it to take him any longer to die from starvation than any normal person.
Wow. You need to learn how to keep a discussion on topic.
I did answer you question. Want me to quote it? Here:
Yet, you decide to retort and tell me that he's immortal. Now you're saying that Kishi stated that Hidan can die, which was my point from the very beginning.
Here's a tip: Pick a side and stay on it. You either think he's immortal or not. Not flip sides whenever someone says otherwise.
Everything I said doesn't answer you? You don't get it.Evidently you need to take the time to actually understand a question before elaborating because everything that you just stated was proposed in the initial question of this thread. And it's funny how you quoted yourself and still didn't answer the question...
I asked "HOW LONG" would it take for Hidan to die...NOT whether or not he was dead or alive. It was stated that Hidan was immortal, but Kishimoto stated that he was dying from lack of nutrition which simply gives a stipulation to his immortality...just like how vampires need blood, or some immortal characters need an elixir of life...doesn't make them NOT immortal, they just need certain things to maintain their immortality. In addition he isn't dead because Kabuto would have brought him back if he was...Now if you couldn't get that, a simple I DON'T KNOW would have been sufficient instead of replying with a wittless comeback...:flaw:![]()
If you think Hidan can't die then why the are you even asking this question?Just what I thought, however, many people seem to dismiss his character altogether when he really was bad ass. Saying that he would die just like anyone "normal" is ludicrous! If that was the case, he would have died long ago when his head was first removed...Hidan can't die..
You maybe one if the most ignorant blind people here.....Evidently you need to take the time to actually understand a question before elaborating because everything that you just stated was proposed in the initial question of this thread. And it's funny how you quoted yourself and still didn't answer the question...

you're saying he's immortal at the same time saying how long would it take from him die?I asked "HOW LONG" would it take for Hidan to die...NOT whether or not he was dead or alive.
Ok, so Hidan's my favorite character (obviously) so I've always hoped for his resurrection..
Kishimoto confirmed that he wasn't dead a while ago, but that he was slowly dying from lack of nutrition. So if that's the case, how long does it take for someone that's immortal to actually die? There is no definitive in this, so is it safe for me to still have hope for the return of Hidan at some point?
*fingers crossed*

Let me clarify something since some members seem to think I'm jumping down others throats...not once did I state I wasn't ready for an answer, but do be prepared for a reply whether you agree with it or not. I started this thread off light-hearted and jokingly but was attacked because I disagreed with a "senior member" which I am entitled to do and see that everyone else here does on a regular basis. You take a shot at me, you can bet there's ALWAYS going to be one coming back at you... Now...just in case you needed more clarification there are stipulations for Hidan's immortality ie he needs to perform his RITUAL and kill in order to sustain it. even if he wasn't a pile of flesh in some hole in Konoha if he wasn't killing people his immortality would be negated....
and before you jump down my throat like you did NLee because I know I didn't give you answer for the question you provided you should be careful in the future about asking questions especially if you're not ready for the answer....
