right.... a writers mind is fickle.. there is no point or reason in anything especially when it comes to his masterpiece. Naruto is such an awesome manga/anime hands down to Kishi san for making it a piece to be reckoned with. Well one thing is for sure though however it ends or whenever for that matter given Kishis' brilliant mind is something that will never go understated. Guess we'll just have to wait and see and be surprised.

Well, there isn't annything to do after the war is over, and it's more of just one huge battle than an actual war. They should streach it out some more. I wouldn't be surprised if Naruto lasted less than another year. The rate of ressurected Ninjas that Kabuto raised getting knocked out is pretty fast. The've already taken out about a third of them. Once Madara is defeated there is no where else to go. Then again, in DBZ every time they took out a major enemy (Freeza, cell, etc) then they begain another story all together; maby they'll do the same with Naruto. But the series has been around since I was in midle school, and as powerful as naruto has become, I doubt that they'll bring about another enemy or group of enemies.
Maybe they'll do a story in the same mangga universe only set 20 years or so in the future? (But that would probably suck)

Alright well honestly.. I have no idea. There are mangas that have gone on longer than this one, but non as successful as this one. It's really a question of whether Kishi wants it to go on or not. That's entirely up to him, and you've got to figure there's other things on his mind at the moment in Japan. I will make this a quote for all of the Narutards out there...

hard to guess..but I'd think less than 2 years..then kishi starts writing new series called "Konohamaru" as he is now a chuunin trained by naruto..then Udon turns evil, flees the village and Konohamaru makes a promise to Moegi to bring him back so that they can all eat pancakes again
