How large can a sig be?

I haven't found anything in the FAQ or in the "Change signature"-option, so what's the maximum length a signature can be?

i'm not sure myself, however as long as its not too big im sure it'll be fine.

Well, Normally, it is 600x150.
600x200 can be Tolerated.
It doesn't have to be these exact Dimensions, as long as the sum makes 800.
(400x400, 300x500, 700x100 etc.)

It will be cool to have the limitations written when you are gonna change it like when you upload the photos. All I know is that if it is too big and is an .gif animation it wont move.

Yes some sig shouldnt be able to touch the black side of the screen that means it's to big*looks at my sig* yea im gonna need to resize mine lol
