Neither are intentionally trying to start/revive a clan. Naruto's clan are scattered anyways and I'm pretty sure a half uzumaki isn't running shit when people like Karin and Nagano exist.

Sasuke and Naruto do not have concubines nor live in the warring periods that Indra/Ashura did.

I think the reason why the Ootutsuki have the Byakugan is because of Hamura. He carried the Ootutsuki bloodline with the Byakugan.

I agree only on the basis of what could have been. These are things I thought about when Neji was still my fav.

Unfortunately this was not what he planned for them. He wanted them to be more of a traditional reserved clan based on their portrayal. Compared to the Uchiha. I think the exclusiveness of the Uchiha clan is why they by default were more involved and seemingly better in the series.

If he had wiped out the hyuga clan over the Uchiha clan. Maybe the few hyuga would have been expanded on and buffed.

I don't really think it's dumb. Kaguya was probably born with byakugan. And the rest of the otsutsuki too. She gained the rinneasharingan as a power up after eating the chakra fruit so logically, Sharingan/rinnegan should be more powerful than her normal eye.

The Byakugan feels like it wasn't made to be important, until the Otsutsuki got retconned. But they focused more on the Rinnegan than the Byakugan afterwards.

Because they had chakra where Kaguya was from just not on earth that or they all ate/shared chakra fruits. And Kaguya went to earth to get their fruit but ate it instead.

1. Neji destroyed a WP from a clone of Kisame that only had 30% of his chakra, and he waited till the clone was distracted. Kakashi was trapped by the real Zabuza and Zabuza put all his attention and focus in sustaining it.
