How Kishimoto restricted and ignored Hyuga clan potential

Its clear that Kishi ignored Hyugas like many others great clans. This thread will show you how nerfed Hyugas are.

Lets Begin :

1. Ninjutsu experts


A) Using ninjutsu

Kishi nerfed Hyugas by making them use Taijutsu only. We know that great chakra control allows you to master every jutsu ( at least in theory) .

As we know Hyugas are masters in chakra control. With their Byakugan they can see chakra flow and they have unique ability to expel chakra from every tenketsu. We should mention that even Jonins can only expel chakra from arms and legs.

So Hyugas with great chakra control could be masters in using ninjutsu.

B) Ninjutsu counter

Thanks to their Juuken Hyugas can destroy anything made from chakra .

Which means they can counter many Ninjutsus with this. Manga already confirmed this :

- Neji destroying Kidomaru golden armour and web

In conclusion Hyugas can be masters at using and countering Ninjutsu

2. Nerfing other members

So many great jutsus are allowed only to members of main house while completely ignoring members of branch house. So entire branch house is nerfed badly .

- Twin lion fist
- Eight Trigrams 64 palms
- Rotation

Let me put this simply :

- Kishi nerfed Hyugas by not allowing them to use ninjutsu with Taijutsu being their focus
- he makes them focus in taijutsu and he is restricting half of the members by not allowing them to teach many taijutsu moves .

Man talk about nerf.

3. Eight gates

As we know by definition gates are tenketsu located in human body chakra pathway system. They purpose is to limit flow of chakra. In theory nothing prevents Hyugas to be able to open those tenketsu and increase chakra flow. As said Hyugas can emit chakra from every tenketsu in their body. This should include 8 gates too.

But I guess they had to be restricted ,because this would ruin purpose of hard work Lee and Might Gai are representing.

In Conclusion :

As we see Hyuga clan potential is completely ignored for the sake of others.

But what I find amazing is that even with all those restriction they are still the strongest clan in Konoha.

Also, where was it stated Kaguyas 80 gods fists was a Byakugan move? thats no more byakugan than amenominaka is sharingan.

The sarutobi clan has also stated that, is it true? If you are talking about the total power of the entire united clan, i might agree the Hyuga are the strongest, seeing as the only Uchiha in the village is Sarada and sometimes Sasuke.

Senju and Uchiha were rival clans, and Hashirama was stronger than Madara. your average senju vs your average Uchiha was always about even. only the 2 Hokages were shown to be able to keep up with opponents with Mangekyo Sharing.

(If one clan were stronger than the other, the wars would have ended in one of them being defeated, instead they came together to form a village, because neither side could win.)

Kishimoto didn't restrict a thing. If he wrote the Hyuga clan like this it was because it was meant to be. There is no way to rewrite what was established. Everything else is fanfic and they «were» the strongest because the Uchihas were/are basically extinct.

Anyway, in a time where both clans (Uchihas represented by Sasuke) coexisted in Konoha and Sasuke was still there, Kakashi stated this..
