How is Minato a bad father?

People say that Minato is a bad father. How is this? He gave his life for his son and the village. He had no choice but to seal Kurama inside of Naruto. He was dead throughout the series, so it's not like he could actually be there for Naruto. He couldn't control that Naruto got defeated by Madara. He also couldn't have foreseen or stopped Black Zetsu from intercepting and taking Kurama. Basically, none of Naruto's problems could have been controlled or prevented by Minato. How then does Minato take the fault for this?

Also, the last time I checked, the measure of a good parent is how much love and support they give. It is not how successful they are in battle. People take the word "protect" too seriously. The man is not God. He can't stop everything.

Minato is not a bad dad. Share your thoughts.

He kept Naruto alive didn't he? Kushina's death was inevitable due to Kurama's extraction. How could he have stopped Obito from killing Naruto and extracting Kurama at the same time? Also, he was the hokage after all. Was he just supposed to let the village be destroyed?

2. Obito: Corrupted by Madara, not Minato. Minato couldn't have saved Obito.

I agree with you, there is nothing which can prove minato is a bad dad infact he did everything within his might to save naruto which includes sacrificing his life in order to protect him, so i will also say that instead of a bad dad he is a perfect dad in my view
