This is true. If Kushina had resealed Kurama into herself, she would have lived. Both of them could have continued being Naruto's parents if that happened. But I doubt that he knew that resealing a bijuu into it's jinchurikki would save it. Kurama hated Minato and Kushina, & he just told Gaara, because Naruto is the only host he cares about.

ot: No he wasn't a bad father. He was a well-intentioned person and tried to do his best which is what counts. Besides, you cannot really judge him on being a father, when he was dead since before the series even started.

Kushina stated that she will die with kyuubi .....

Minato was a bad father as much as Itachi was a bad brother

I think that Itachi tried to do alot more good for Sasuke and the village than Minato did, mainly because he was alive for most of the series though. Both Minato and Itachi did somewhat fail w/ Naruto and Sasuke. But it all worked out in the end. I don't think either of them were bad in that respect, they were just thrown into impossible situations.

Kushina stated that she will die with kyuubi .....

I was under the assumption that she was unaware that resealing a bijuu into its jinchurikki would save them and therefore made that statement. She didn't know and neither did her husband, so they did what they did. It wasn't their fault. It's not as if Kurama would be one to inform them, especially when he hated them.

Realistically, either Minato sealed the 9 tails inside of Naruto, or the village would die. He also made his last request was that Naruto be viewed as a hero. It was Hiruzen that screwed that up.
