And also a theory of mine so in the manga we seen durai beat the gold and silver bros. And im pretty sure the 2nd hokage is stronger then durai. So with that being said the reason why madara knows about edo tensei is he helped the gold and silver bros defeat the 2nd hokage and madara was doing research to revive bodies so he got information before he killed him or put him under genjutsu maybe izanami.
