[Discussion] How is Kizaru not the strongest admiral?

He is = to them in strength but is Lazy AF, he has potential but doesnt exercise it too often (imo).

Garp and Sengoku are an exception... lol.

Garp is the "hero of the marines".. a title that is arguably above the Fleet admiral. And he is also treated as if he is above the admirals. So no reason to use Garp/Sengoku to claim that its the same for Akainu/Kizaru.

It seems garp and the old lady are beyond the rank they both carry

But kizaru seems to be the garp of the admirals his df awakened stands to be the most op next to black beard imho

Akainu just takes the job the most serious similar to sengoku compared to garp which makes it the same situation

No, Kizaru is not the Garp of the admirals. If kizaru didn't take anything serious, he wouldn't be an admiral.


Garp was never an admiral. Kizaru is an admiral. Only person from the marines who'd be like Garp is Smoker.

It makes no senses storywise for Kizaru to be stronger. The story obviously portrays Akainu as the strongest.

Nowhere is it stated that akainu is stronger than kizaru. Akainu was chosen for his view on politics (absolute justice) and not by his strength

I'd actually say Kuzan is the Garp of the previous three Admirals. He probably modeled himself after Garp, he was seen calling him badass.
