no. there is no goddamn excuse for this. NO EXCUSE for this savagery. NONE. i dont have to sit here and stand for this so im gonna break it down for you fine people.
that night, sasuke lost everything. his entire family. but as one final stab in the throat, a psychopath came along and brutally and horrifically started torturing his 7 year old mind for at least 24 hours. this was done by a genjutsu designed to replay the massacre in his mind over. and over. and over.
and over.
and over.
and over.
by my math, meant he watched his family die about 25 times.
to make matters worse, itachi then began mocking him, breaking down his sanity, making him feel small and insignificant and not worth his time, and not deserving of a quick death.
itachi, knowing full well this is not the truth at all and won't work, told sasuke to seek power by killing his friends in cold blood. meaning itachi coldly and emotionlessly asked his brother to kill people and he didnt care how or who, as long as it furthered his agenda. he completed his corruption by basically leaving sasuke to become power hungry, hateful, depressed, emotionless, emotionally and socially crippled and broken, psychologically and mentally shattered, vengeful, selfish, arrogant and a broken human being. it was all from the torture because i can confirm sasuke was none of these things before that.
then itachi left. sasuke festered for YEARS. for all itachi knows, sasuke had long since killed himself just to end the mental shattering and pain.
so when they meet again what does he do? ill tell you.
mocks and ignores sasuke. then breaks his wrist brutally, knowing full wel that at ANY TIME AT ALL, he can genjutsu sasuke to sleep peacefully. had he done so, ok. no harm no foul. but what does he do?
oh yeah. slowly physically torture him, beat him down, break his bones, mock him mentally and emotionally, degrade him, make him feel weak and hate-less. has sasuke suffered enough? no? ok. more mental rape for 24 hours
leaving sasuke in a possibly permanent coma he might never have awoken from.
that should help those pesky feelings of sanity happiness, kindness and empathy evaporate real quick.
all this right in front of another innocent genin kid who was probably traumatised for DAYS.
but its not enough.
he had the audacity to try and further manipulate and trick this boy, into thinking he did something he didnt ****in do (kill itachi), get called a hero for something he didnt do (kill oro and itachi), by a village that killed his family and even try to brainwash and mindwipe sasuke with KA when sasuke doesnt turn out how he wants. itachi thinks he can get away with lying to the world to boost up one person's ego?
sasuke, under Koto amatsukami brainwashing and mindwipe, will kill torture and murder. oh but its ok. its SANCTIONED murder. its ORDERED murder by the government. right. so much better.
the reason im so mad about this is mostly because hurting your family is unforgivable in my mind. hurting kids? worse. inflicting torture on innocents? even worse. and itachi covered all three in two scenes. fantastic.
you cant sneak shit past me kishimoto because i smell shit and i reel it back in. he took a huge shit on sasuke's sanity, sasuke's mind, sasuke's parents last wishes, konoha's limits and laws, and humanity/decency in general.
