[Discussion] How in the world did shanks stop the war?

its the fact that akigami was the second greatest of the yonkou after whitebeard, and ontop of that he essentially foddered another yonkou to get there in time

Shanks had all of his elites out on the field there. My theory is that Shanks has a very small crew compared to the other Yonkos, so everyone's pretty much epic. The WG would be destroyed if they fought them, adding the fact that Marco, Vista and a few of those guys could still fight.

well, they pretty much spent their entire WG force just to defeat 1 yonku. fighting another would be obvious loss.

I believe the same would happen if they "killed" Shanks, and WB + his crew came to stop the war.

LOL, you don't understand how strong one of the four emperors can be. Shanks was on par with Whitebeard whilst he was alive. Its said he also had a lot of spars with Dracule Mihawk and lol. The 3 admirals were already f**** up by the war at hand. Shanks commanders we have seen much of but they must be strong.

Also to, Blackbeard standing in their way was out of the question. BB said himself :

"Lets stop this then, we're not ready to fight these guys yet"
