[Discussion] How in the world did shanks stop the war?

I mean seriously everyone is bloodlusted and fighting for their honor, and Shanks appears and with just a few words and a threat, stops the 3 admirals, blackbeard(who was on a killing rampage mind you) Dracule mihawk, pretty much everyone he just stopped with words, how in the world did that happen?

please don't say Plot no jutsu, there has to be a reason behind this.

It wasn't plot no jutsu. 1 yonko crew = WG forces that can be assembled. Had Shanks and his crew fought, WG would cease to exist.

That's why Shanks is for now the strongest character. And plus he knew what he was saying and his words were persuasive enough to make Sengoku call of the war.

i don't think 'Plot no jutsu' is meant to be used for animes other than Naruto.
and we don't know much about Shanks except that he's one of yonkou and that makes him powerful enough(his haki and his crew)

Shanks is just that badass. He is highly respected and his words of wisdom were correct. Everyone knew better when he threatened to fight them all. They knew how powerful and fearless he was. Would you want to go up against him there? If so it's suicide. Lol

He has strong CoA and CoC. That's pretty special in one piece.

The Marines just didn't have the power left to fight another Yonko.

IMO Shanks was pretty much equal to WB and WB could have sunk the entire marineford at the beginning if Ace wasnt there, the Marines knew that, they however had no idea what Shanks was there to do, they didnt know how far hed go to stop the fighting, he had his crew with them and im quite sure they could have handled the mess

Sengoku knew that they couldnt win against shanks thats why he called it off and he knew very well that shanks wouldnt attack if they acted reasonably enough

I think that shanks has great respect among the more reasonable marines (aokiji, sengoku, even garp, ...) even though hes a pirate

Even if the Warlords continued fighting, Shanks and the Red Hair Pirates would have destroyed Marineford.
