If Sasuke is free, why not Orochimaru? Sasuke killed former hokage candidate. Injured Raikage Ay, Killer B, Naruto. Killed dozen of fodder when he was training with Orochimaru. Joined Akatsuki. Tried to kill all former kages and tailed beasts.

He didn't kill Danzo. He killed himself.
He didn't kill those fodders. He knocked them out(Batman style)
He DID kill a couple Samurai fodders at Summit but gave them a warning. So only acted in self defense as a ninja.....

Lol if this happened in real life people would throw riots. Only in naruto world can people do human experiments, kill the leader of a village, destroy the village and still be forgiven/pardoned

That would've been impossible since Sasuke can use Ameno to run. Plus, it would've went against Naruto's goal.

Forgiveness is totally a major theme

it doesn't mean someone shouldn't be held accountable for their actions. It completely defeated the purpose of Kishimoto inserting mentions of a ninja prison of the only person who was going to be sent there was Mizuki. Matter of fact, if everybody was just going to be forgiven, then Mizuki shouldn't have even been jailed.

He was one of the main reasons SA won the war. They let him leave in a similar manner to Sasuke.

And what he's doing now is none of Konoha's business, since he didn't come back there. Even if he still does his experiments.
