Well, a strong sense of personal hygine should be kept up so either party isn't with someone who stinks or be carrying something nasty.

For looks, if I score with someone hoooot I am happy enough but depends on how you like someone, your view points on their looks change too.

It is very important that you and your partner find each other attractive.

It's not fair to each other if there aren't things about each other that make you want to tear their clothes off and go at it.

That doesn't mean she needs to fit some broader social ideal of beauty - or that she has to be the most beautiful thing you've ever seen. It just means that it's very important that you find each other attractive and want to be together.

But the same thing applies to personality. If you can't stand to talk and do things together - then you're not being fair to each other, either.
