Wouldn't Hashirama have been revived by Edo Tensei and been like, "Oh by the way, a weird black shadow killed me with a strange jutsu, so uhh, might wanna be on the lookout."?

Can't stop laughing!!!!

Black Zetsu had nothing to do with Hashirama because he got what he needed, that is, Madara mixing the two chakras of Ashura and Indra.
Hashirama must have died after wards due to Old age or some incurable disease. Black Zetsu didn't interfere much otherwise his plan would have had ruined.

He wasn't too old, because he was presumably deceased when Tobirama was Hokage and gave his life for Hiruzen and Danzo's team.

Hashirama died shortly after the fight with Madara. He died from wounds that could not be treated in a hospital.

The man who could heal any wounds without using hand signs, the man who could survive getting stabbed through the heart. Certainly, that man died of some mere wounds.

He was in a coma after the fight for some weeks and died from the wounds.

Hashirama Senju's death is still a mystery. He clearly died young, based off that Edo Tensei revive you as you died and only exception to this is Madara, and I think I have an idea why. Though I don't think Black Zetsu killed Hashirama.

you think bz led kabuto to the kagebunshin madara left behind? would that work for dna???

Black Zetsu said that he showed Kabuto where Madara's body was located. No. I think Madara was revived at a young age because he originally died in that age when Hashirama killed him and he preformed Izanagi. Kabuto either found a way to revive someone at the point he wished for, or Madara's case is special because he died several times. (Edo Tensei revives you at the state you die, but what if someone dies multiple times?)

Night Gai did a lot more than penetrate Madara. It destroyed half his body and Madara claimed that it almost killed him. Sasuke's chakra blade cut Madara in half and his normal blade pierced Madara's body like it was butter. Obito pierced Madara's body, and the same did Black Zetsu. Anyone with Black Zetsus chance could have killed Madara. Madara thought that Black Zetsu was on his side and his will, he didn't even bother with watching his back as all his enemies were infront of him. Sakura would have been able to kill Madara from that position, that is if she actually had the guts to use the Kunai this time.

Wrong. Night Elephant would blow up the Third Raikage. But could only bruise Juubi Jin Madara.

Being the Juubi Jin dramatically increases endurance. No way a basic Kauni is going to cut a Juubi Jin.

Juuito withstood billions of tons of giant Tori slammed on him. Not a scratch nor sprain.
