[Question] How great is the gap between Zoro and Vista?

I think there is a pretty big gap, but in like two more arcs we will know for sure.

Mihawks casual swings can split icebergs. If Vista's swords didn't break while clashing against Mihawk, unless Mihawk was holding back, it means either he possess sufficient strength to block these kind of slashes or enough haki to shield against them. In this way, i can see Vista winning mid difficulty at most if i'm generous because it can easily be low difficulty

It depends really I think Vista is stronger than Zoro but by how much really isn't certain. Mihawk was shown to be let's say 'half serious' with Vista but at the same time we can't discredit Vista either since I'm sure he wasn't going all out either.

I'd say the Gap is probably about the same as say Sanji and Jimbei, I'm sure Jimbei would win but Sanji would put up a fight...that's honestly the best comparison I can give with Zoro and Vista.

Not enough, which is funny considering it's supposed to be his speciality. But he showed some glimpes in his haki air slash against Monet and maybe the barrier against Hyouzou as well

Ah you meant observation? I already knew that then, but i was talking about armament. He already showed observation quite some times(against Caribou like on the video, against Vergo, against Pica recently and maybe in Neptune's castle)

Good point, if Vista was able to fight like that with Mihawk then that deff says something.

Only against Monet for sure. Possibly against Hyouzou. He talked about a barrier-thing and the barrier is a variation of armament haki

Vista is stronger. It'd sound pretty stupid if a haki newbie is already better than a new world "veteran" who's presumably known haki for a while. As for the gap, I'd say it's not that huge. I'm pretty sure once we finish the wano arc & assuming Zoro learns a few techniques then he'd be on par if not slightly stronger than pre-TS Vista. Post-TS Vista is much stronger than Zoro and that goes for all the WB members. They're probably training to avenge WB's death.

I know Vista is stronger, i was saying we don't know enough about Zoro's haki to say how strong he is with it.
