I'd say she's a Genjutsu prodigy who can take on many people Since Genjutsu is a sort of OP technique she's high jounin level IMO

exactly.. Itachi countered like I said. So now you're going to tell me that Kurenai should have a difficult time escaping her own jutsu? ... ofcourse she escapes easily out of her own genjutsu.
